This is my sixth published book, and I am excited to share this with you. Not only does the book includes grades preK-5, but also discusses writing as it relates to a child’s reading level.

It is my hope that this book and the materials provided on this website will help you grow as a teacher of literacy, more confident than ever to face the ever-increasing diversity you face in the classroom. My writing style is simple and straight- forward and provides easy access for busy teachers. Perhaps more importantly, the materials that support the book are ready for your use.
